About the event
In the upcoming Fall 2024 podcast episode of TInhe Rhymer's Corner, we will be featuring Victoria Boateng. Victoria, a passionate advocate for autism awareness, uses her expertise with the djembe drum to make a significant impact. Diagnosed with autism at three and non-verbal until age seven, Victoria found solace and expression through music. She pursued the study of West African drumming and now performs with the all-female groups Ayodele Drum and Dance and She Wolf Sacred Movement.
